The Henley Electric cast iron radiators are fitted with a 240V single-phase heating element which has thermostatically adjustable settings including a frost protection mode. They are supplied filled, tested and ready for wiring to a fused spur.

Choose your Element Colour

You can select the colour of your element to best compliment your cast Iron radiator. There are 10 colours in the range to choose from, if no colour is specified, we will supply white as standard.

Choose your Wire Colour

Our standard cable colour is white. You can select either light grey or black, which could extend your lead time by up to 3 weeks.

Any quoted lengths are provided for guidance only. Due to the nature, and production process of these radiators, tolerances are to be expected.

10 Classic Cast Iron Colours

Our range of classic cast iron colours are specially selected colours reflect the heritage and traditions of cast iron from Victorian times to the modern day. Chosen with an eye on classic interiors these tough, hard wearing & washable finishes add a stunning metallic look to your cast iron radiators. Our selection of darker colours such as Iron Ore, Lead Grey and Factory Black, are amongst the most popular choices along with the deep dark bronze of Vintage Coin and Classic Bronze. The range of Gold’s & Copper are perfect for a more rich and bold statement. The finish of the durable polyurethane wet paint is equivalent to an Eggshell, which sits well on the rough texture of cast iron.

188 RAL Colours

Our Ledbury and Henley Electric cast iron designs are available in wide selection of 188 internationally recognised RAL colours. Colour can add an extra element of individual style and design, creating a personal and unique result.

Burnished & Industrial Finishes

Our Henley and Ledbury are both available in beautiful burnished and industrial finishes. The Burnished finish is achieved via tumbling the sections in a ceramic media, and then lightly buffing the sections on a polishing wheel.
The Industrial finish is achieved by tumbling the sections in this same ceramic media, but then left unlacquered for a short while to patina, before we lacquer the sections to seal the finish.

Branded Paints -

Little Greene® & Farrow & Ball® Paints

We are able to offer our Ledbury and Henley Electric cast iron in any one of Farrow & Ball's® or Little Greene's® stunning range of quality paints, a perfect match for any heritage property. They add a classic high quality finish to your radiator that will perfectly match your chosen colour. We only use genuine Farrow & Ball® or Little Greene® paints. For Farrow & Ball® we use their Estate Eggshell (20% sheen), and for Little Greene®, we use their Tom's Oil Eggshell (15% gloss).

The process is very straightforward, simply specify the colour name and reference number along with the radiator range and size and we will provide you with a quotation. Once approved we will order the paint and produce your radiators.
Please do note that (especially with Little Greene®) the reference number is extremely important. Little Greene’s palette of 196 colours includes the ‘Colour Scales’ which offer graduated shades from the same family of pigments. Therefore, similar names have been given, with a colour number for each.

Cast Iron Handling and Joining

Due to their weight, Cast Iron Radiators will be delivered on pallets to the nearest hard standing (driveway or yard) and appropriate assistance should be on hand to help move them into a safe and dry storage area. They can be very heavy so careful handling is needed to avoid injury. Sectional radiators should always be carried vertically, not stretcher style, this avoids putting stress on the section joins.
